Ron Greenman is a respected automotive industry leader and former President of the Automotive Training Institute (ATI), where he spent nine years helping independent repair shop owners grow, improve operations, and navigate succession planning. Throughout his tenure at ATI, Ron worked closely with hundreds of shop owners across the U.S. and Canada, gaining a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the independent automotive aftermarket. Prior to ATI, Ron built a successful career in finance and operations, holding leadership roles including Controller, CFO, and Director of Operations, as well as running his own consulting business. He began his career as a CPA with Deloitte and KPMG after earning a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from St. Bonaventure University.
As a member of Straightaway Tire & Auto’s Brand Advisory Council, Ron provides strategic guidance on founder succession, growth, and operational excellence. He is passionate about helping shop owners preserve their legacy while creating new opportunities for long-term success.
Ron lives in the Baltimore area with his wife, Dawn. Together they have five children, two granddaughters, and a chocolate Labrador. In their free time, they enjoy traveling and are working toward a bucket-list goal of visiting every Major League Baseball stadium.
